When working with Cubase and 64-bit mode, what happens is that the 64-bit version of your DAW completely loads and sits dormant in RAM until you use it. When you then close down and exit your 64-bit daw, the 32-bit version continues running in the background. When you do that the 64-bit version of Reason will run in the background without any problems.

You should find that the output from the Reason module now flows through onto separate channels and you can apply any effects you want. If you like, you could also use this to record the stream onto a Cubase audio channel. You can repeat this with as many channels as you need. Although there is a limit, it’s not one you are likely to run up against.

The same, but when switching from the Reason module, you must first close out the 64-bit version of Reason. This is because the 32-bit version of Cubase is already running in the background. Once you close that down, you can re-open Reason in 64-bit mode and you will find that Reason has loaded properly and the out put you were getting through Reason, continues flowing through into 32-bit Cubase.
